I have taught the Genetics lecture course(PCB3063) for five semesters.
Spring 2021
I was a teaching assistant for Dr Hazel Levy for Genetics course which was offered in HyFlex course design. I helped with designing and formatting the course structure including student projects on bioethics and on various human genetic diseases. I also helped with Bioinformatics training sesssions.
Fall 2020
Teaching Assistant for Dr Bernard Hauser for Genetics class delivered completely online through zoom due to Covid-19.
Spring 2020
I was teaching assistant for Dr. Michael M Miyamoto
- I gave two hour lecture on bacterial and viral recombination and replication
- I also did bioinformatics training sessions on using various NCBI database such as PubMed, OMIM, MesH, Genbank, Structure, dbSNP,Genetic Testing Registry(GTR),Entrez, GeneReviews, KEGG. I also taught using Cn3D software.
Spring 2019
I was teaching assistant for Dr. Cherie Bond and helped with the grading and in class activities.
Spring 2018
I was teaching assistant for Dr Mi-Jeong Yoo . I also gave two guest lectures on the following topics:
- Genomics, Proteomics and Biotechnology.
- Evolutionary Biology and Quantitative Genetics.
